1. Acceptance
By using OurNextBook, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
2. The service
OurNextBook provides a platform for book clubs to nominate and vote on books. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time.
3. Accounts
- You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
- You are responsible for keeping your password secure.
- One account per person. Don't create multiple accounts.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use offensive, discriminatory, or inappropriate names or content.
- Attempt to disrupt the service or access others' accounts.
- Abuse the Open Library API integration (automated scraping, etc.).
- Use the service for any unlawful purpose.
5. Content
Book data is sourced from Open Library (openlibrary.org) and is used under their terms. User-generated content (poll names, descriptions, custom books) remains yours, but you grant us a licence to display it within the service.
6. Liability
The service is provided "as is" without warranties. We are not liable for any loss of data, downtime, or damages arising from use of the service.
7. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
